“What is Yin yoga? Like all styles of yoga, yin works to stretch and strengthen the body. Yin is a slow-paced style of yoga with postures that are held for longer periods of time five to ten minutes per pose. Yin yoga postures apply moderate stress to the connective tissues the tendons, fascia, and ligaments increasing circulation in the joints and improving flexibility.
This is a more meditative approach to yoga, yin aims at cultivating awareness of one’s inner silence, and bringing to light a universal, interconnecting quality.
All levels with options to simplify and modify or advance further in to the postures with step by step guidance.
