What You’ll Learn
Wendy Fit Academy Yoga School offers an intensive curriculum focused on Power Vinyasa and Hatha yoga. Through practical instruction and hands-on teaching experience, you will:

Learn to sequence and teach Hatha, Power, and Vinyasa classes

Led by an Experienced Master Teacher
This comprehensive training is led by Wendy Santiago, owner of Wendy Fit and a 500-Hour Experienced Registered Yoga Teacher (E-RYT) and 1000-Hour RYT with Yoga Alliance.
Wendy is certified in Power, Alignment, Ashtanga, Hatha, Vinyasa, Restorative Yoga, Yoga Therapy, Thai Bodywork, and Personal Training. Since 1997, she has trained with and assisted master teachers across the United States, bringing decades of experience and heartfelt mentorship to every training.
Training Requirements & Format
To meet Yoga Alliance standards, this program includes:

A minimum of 100 in-person classroom hours with the lead E-RYT instructor

Additional hours in assisting, practice teaching, and observation
Training Manual
Students receive a comprehensive digital training manual (PDF). A printed copy is available for an additional $35.
The manual is updated annually and includes:

Asana instruction

Teaching and assisting techniques

Philosophy, ethics, and yogic lifestyle

Anatomy and alignment
Each posture and assist is professionally photographed and includes detailed explanations, Sanskrit translations, and modifications, with space for note-taking.
Community Teaching Experience
Wendy Fit Academy proudly supports the local community by offering donation-based yoga classes taught by graduates. Alumni may apply to teach community classes at Wendy Fit, gaining valuable real-world teaching experience in a supportive environment.
